In partnership with ACCESS and Oakland Thrive, this event unites entrepreneurs, community leaders, and residents from both counties to strengthen connections, highlight local hidden gems, and showcase the power of working together.

An inspiring journey through participating small businesses, each a “pearl” showcasing creativity, resilience, and cultural richness.

Transportation provided for the full route, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

Passport to collect your ”pearls”.

Routes and tickets: $25 for one day or $40 for both days.

What Is Passport to Pearls?
Passport to Pearls is a collaborative event created by ACCESS and Oakland Thrive, a business crawl that invites community members to explore small businesses and hidden gems across both counties. Along the journey, participants will discover inspiring stories, unique products, and the positive impact these entrepreneurs bring to their communities. Each stop offers an opportunity to meet the owners, network, collect “passport stamps,” and support local commerce in a fun and engaging way. The event is designed to encourage community collaboration and economic growth, while building meaningful connections between small businesses and the wider public.

Check-in Time: 9:30 am (Gathering spot : Arab American National Museum 13624 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126)
Starting Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Route Highlights: Downtown Dearborn, East Dearborn Arab-American business corridor, Southfield Road Corridor, returning back to the Arab American National Museum. -
Sunday, October 26 – Oakland County Tour
Check-in Time 9:30 am (Gathering spot: 168 Asian Market 32393 John R Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071)
Starting Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Route Highlights: Madison Heights, Clawson, Berkley, Oak Park, returning back to 168 Asian Market
Participants will travel as a group, visiting several featured businesses each day. At every location, guests will enjoy guided introductions, samples, and networking moments that highlight the heart of our entrepreneurial communities.

Your participation includes transportation between stops, refreshments, and a Passport to Pearls bag filled with goodies from our business partners and a great raffle at the end.
