Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Oakland Thrive CEO Toast: Celebrating Impact in Oakland County on February 5. The evening marked a meaningful milestone as we proudly debuted Oakland Thrive’s 2025 Impact Report, highlighting the measurable outcomes, partnerships, and progress made in advancing small businesses and entrepreneurs across Oakland County. Together, we reflected on what’s possible when public, private, philanthropic, and community partners align with purpose. A special highlight of the evening was I Teach Chess and the Southfield Christian Elementary Chess Team—recent champions of the Detroit Metro Scholastic Chess League—whose achievement served as a powerful reminder that investing early in critical thinking, confidence, and future leadership is essential to long-term economic vitality. We are grateful to our partners, vendors, and attendees who made the evening both impactful and memorable.

On January 30, Oakland Thrive, along with Aqaba Digital, hosted the B2B Partner Mixer. It was a night of connection, collaboration, and community. With 50+ B2B Technical Assistance Providers in attendance, guests enjoyed networking, bocce ball, and a special roundtable from CEO Camille Walker Banks on the B2B program and 2026 Oakland Thrive goals and updates. We’re grateful for our partners’ ongoing commitment to supporting small business owners across Oakland County.
