Oakland Thrive is a non profit 501c(3) organization. We were created to help Oakland County businesses and support the county’s economic development with a special focus on women-owned, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and LGBTQ+ owned small business. We have a variety of innovative programs that offer business support, education, and opportunity for growth throughout Oakland County including Business Forward, Business Intelligence, Resource Fairs, Project Management, and special county-wide events.

Oakland Thrive serves Oakland County businesses of all sizes and sectors. We also serve the greater Oakland County Community by connecting people to economic development opportunities such as Business Intelligence, Defense and Aerospace, Government Contracting, Networking and more.

Oakland Thrive received significant funding from Oakland County’s federal American Rescue Act funding. In addition, we receive funding from various corporate and individual donors as well as contracts for project management services with Oakland County.

The B2B program is an initiative supporting our Business Forward program clients. B2B has established a growing pool of qualified business providers in fields such as Legal, Accounting, Marketing, IT, and HR to give guidance, training, and consultation to Thrive’s small business clients.
