Oakland Thrive creates and hosts a wide variety of county-wide economic development and business events. We work with a variety of partners, including Oakland County, to host, support, and create events to help the Oakland County business community. These events include innovative programs to fill gaps in the economic development/business ecosystem of the county and bring together business groups to “cross pollinate” in order to share best practices, ideas, and support.

This year, Oakland Thrive is involved in the planning of the opening reception of the Vehicle and Transportation Technology Innovation Meetings, an international B2B forum for innovations in automotive and mobility.

Thrive Connect is a series of Resource Fairs connecting vendors and resources with the small business community. Topics include: Workforce Development, Small Business Resources, and Matchmaking Events.
